LGBT Challenge - Day 14 - Your favorite LGBT song or artist.
Well, “Father of a Son” by The Ark is probably the one I’d go with… Every year during the Stockholm Pride Parade we play that song from our LGBTQ-youth federation- float/truck and the reaction from the crowd/people dancing behind us is AMAZING!!! That feeling is the best one in the whole world.BUT! That’s not the song up in the player here! No, it’s another song by The Ark called “It takes a fool to remain sane”, and it was probably the first bi/gay-inclusive song (besides from anything by Culture Club) that I heard. It came out when I was 16 and struggling with my own bisexuality and coming out. And the song is amazing on so many levels! :D
And the singer, Ola, was openly bisexual and had an androgynous look so obviously I fell in love;
I could also go with “Fuck you” by Lily Allen, just for the great way people have been coming out & making a statement in videos like these;
